If you are in Bormio, enjoy a unique experience on the Bernina Red Train, the highest railway in the Alps and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008. Cima Piazzi Happy Mountain

The Cima Piazzi San Colombano ski area, a few steps from Bormio in Isolaccia, is perfect for families and those who love a day on the snow in total relaxation. The cable car conveniently connects the village to the Conca Bianca mountain hut, the ski school and other facilities, even for those who do not ski. The ski area covers two slopes, Valdidentro and Oga, offering 25 kilometres of easy and intermediate slopes. Beginners can
take their first steps in the ski school at the arrival point of the Isolaccia Pian de la Mota cable car, before enjoying the Cunalta slope, which is popular with children. For breathtaking views, climb to the top of Masucco, where you can admire Corno San Colombano, Cima Piazzi, the Bormio area and the Cancano road.

Cross-country skiing

If you want to get away from the crowded slopes, try cross-country skiing: relaxation, nature and freedom await you. In Valdidentro and the nearby valleys, you will find trails suitable for all levels. Beginners can practise on the 5 km trail near Bormio, while enthusiasts and competitors can try their hand at the renowned Viola trail.

For a total immersion in the woods, Santa Caterina Valfurva offers the Pista Valtellina, with trails from 2 to 10 km in the heart of the Stelvio National Park.

Livigno also offers unique thrills, with splendid cross-country trails running through the valley.
For those who want to improve their skills, the Fondo Alta Valtellina ski school offers lessons, and equipment hire is available in all resorts near the slopes.

Thrills, descents and wind in your hair: welcome to Family Bob in Valdidentro, the only bobsleigh run in Lombardy! Located at the top of the Isolaccia Pian de la Mota cable car, opposite the Conca Bianca mountain hut, Family Bob is a new attraction not to be missed in Alta Valtellina.

The route offers 600 metres of descent and 300 metres of automated ascent, with panoramic curves and plenty of adrenaline. Fun in all seasons, the Family Bob is suitable for everyone: from 4 years old, accompanied by adults, and from 120 cm tall independently, in complete safety.
