La Baita dell’Al is a place that conquers first of all because of the wonderful location, surrounded by nature and with a view that is worth the trip alone.
The food is of the highest quality, with products they produce and a cuisine that knows how to make the most of them. We tasted several dishes:
– Cream of scimudin and lemon, poached egg, crispy bacon, and thyme ice cream: unforgettable cream and ice cream, although I would have preferred the egg cooked a little more.
– Buckwheat crepe with porcini mushrooms: very good and tasty.
– Green pappardelle with creamed pumpkin and porcini mushrooms (off menu): delicate and well balanced.
– Sciat on chicory with apple cider vinegar emulsion: interesting, though not a favorite of mine.
The dessert “from our Alps” was a perfect closure: honey mousse, apple jelly, honey-almond ice cream, walnut crumble – really special and well thought out.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to advise.
An experience that combines tradition, creativity and authenticity in a unique natural setting.

Sensational discovery. We were looking for a place to dine after a relaxing day at the spa and happened upon this small alpine lodge almost by accident, which made us feel pampered and taken in a truly intimate and romantic evening.
The very quaint setting recreates a cozy and private atmosphere with rustic yet refined charm and attention to detail.
Owner and waiters gentle, kind and helpful.
The dishes really delicious and the raw material of a high standard. The choice of local wine proposal directly in the wine cellar is really a “treat.”
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Superlative dinner in a fabulous setting. After leaving the car on the highway, the walk to the lodge is short and very pleasant.
The 5-course tasting menu is excellent value for money, with raw material when possible local and self-produced.
From blueberry jam to scimudin fondue, venison to tagiatelle, the menu is an immersion in the bold, sincere and comforting flavors of Valtellina cuisine, with a focus on dish presentation and distinctive flavor combinations.
Super recommended!

Baita De L’ All was a wonderful discovery. This farmhouse surrounded by nature has a truly magical atmosphere.
At the ‘entrance is a sitting room with a fantastic fireplace where you can relax with a great glass of wine.
The wine cellar is a dream…the dining room is warm and cozy and you can taste great delicacies.
On the upper floor, the rooms are meticulously detailed, all wooden with every comfort.
The staff is special, helpful and friendly…and continuing with the rhymes….they know how to pamper you .
Let’s talk about the kitchen… Really a big surprise.
I had seen the great reviews but never expected to find dishes like this. Local dishes without falling into the mundane. You can tell that in addition to excellent raw materials, there is passion and love for cooking. Here every dinner is a sensory experience. I could go on describing each dish but only when you have tried it will you understand my words.
To get to this agritourism you have to drive along a small road that is the connection to this corner of paradise.
