La Baita de l’All

Today, together with our children, we have managed to restore our mountain hut in Alta Valtellina in the municipality of Valdidentro in San Carlo, in the heart of the valleys between Bormio and Livigno.

That mountain hut has become ‘Baita de l’All’, a farmhouse where our passion has finally become our everyday life. Caring for our “Campo di piccoli Frutti” (small fruit field), the highest in Italy, our vegetable garden and our barn with our animals fills our days, along with welcoming different guests who share a love for the tranquillity of this mountain environment.

Cooking is our strong point, because the feeling of conviviality has always accompanied our family and friends, ever since meeting in front of a sunset was the most exciting moment of every holiday.

So every dish has a story to tell, every recipe a little bit of life, and every ingredient respect for a nature that must never be contaminated.

Every time a guest tells us they feel at home, we know that those words represent what we have always wanted.

The dream of creating this adventure, Agriturismo Baita de l’All, which is also the name of the valley, has always been in our thoughts.

One morning, while reading the newspaper, my wife Nazzarena had a wonderful idea… to create the highest blueberry farm in Italy.

And that’s how it all began…
